THE POSITION

We are currently looking for a Head of Data Asset Management (DAM) who will lead the Data Strategy team that is part of the Advanced Analytics for Business Insights (AABI) Center of Excellence within Global Product Strategy. This team is responsible for securing and creating value from data assets, in addition to building and operating our next generation data management platforms that will identify critical business issues and opportunities for the strategic direction of Roche. The Head of DAM will lead the work of data experts across GPS and Informatics for defining data strategies and data operations at global level (GPS and PI), covering business functions such as sales, marketing, medical, access, finance, supply chain and other Go To Market related functions. The Head of DAM will drive rapid expansion of data and advanced analytics technologies, alongside existing analytical functions, to enable better decision-making across Roche Pharma business.**

The Head of DAM and team will partner with leaders in Commercial, Finance, Medical, and Market Access to identify business needs and translating and shaping the data strategy and operations. In addition, the role will design and move the organization towards an integrated, central and single data backbone, that will create efficiencies across the board, while enhancing patient experience. The Head of DAM and team will influence go-to-market decision-making across more than 90 Roche affiliates / countries by translating data into information in order to identify critical business & customer opportunities for the strategic direction of Roche Pharma medicines. You will be responsible for five diverse capabilities cross affiliates and cross functions in the Go To Market domain**:
**Data Engineering & Machine Learning Operations - driving the industrialization, scaling and operations of the data and analytical solutions.**
**Data Strategy and acquisitions - define the business value of data that is expected to drive business outcomes and responsible to drive acquisition of data globally**
**Data Governance - establish and run data governance office for master and reference data management**
**Data Operations - business and technical data operations**
**Data and Information Architecture - define and maintain business data and information models to be leveraged globally across any Go To Market analytical use case**

The Head of Data Asset Management will be a member of the Advanced Analytics for Business Insights (AABI) leadership team and report to the Global Head of the AABI group. They will guide senior management and cross-functional executives in relevant issues and represent the department more broadly within the GPS organization. In addition, the Head of Data Asset Management will play an active role in the leadership and development of the AABI center of excellence team overall.**

Drive the organizational mindset to envision the possibilities for data & analytics in go-to-market domain, generating demand for data driven solutions for ‘smarter commercialisation’ including ecosystem intelligence, strategic outcomes, personalised engagement and outcome review.**

Collaborate with existing business & affiliate teams to identify existing, or new, areas that can benefit significantly from data & analytics**

Define and manage solution architecture from idea to implementation, ensuring that solution supports the business objectives, while maintaining the integrity of the overall enterprise architecture.**

Establish centers of excellence of master data management and data governance, within central data stewardship.**

Collaborate and contribute to other enterprise data governance bodies to foster data enterprise interoperability.**

Accountable for solution architecture and roadmap of data and analytics platform strategy.**

Responsible for platform-as-a-service performance as measured by the enablement of business outcomes.**
