**Our client is a Swiss Private Bank in Zurich, they are going through a large growth period and are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer with front experience. This position offers remote working opportunities for a few days a week.**

**COMPLIANCE KYC MANAGER (LATAM)**
You will be responsible for supporting the private banking directly in all areas relating to compliance regulatory requirements, using your expert knowledge in KYC Onboarding and documentation.
**The role**:
An exciting opportunity in a global and challenging environment - join the LATAM team, working directly with the private bankers/teams relating to compliance/risks/KYC-CDD requirements.
- Act as SME for the LATAM teams, supporting them in the control of key risks/topics such as KYC, Suitability and Appropriateness, AML, Cross Border, Conduct, Fraud and Due Diligence
- Advising the private bankers and support team on KYC requirements and CDD questions relating to the Onboarding of all new clients within the LATAM region
- Develop and provide oversight of the overall 1st Line of Defense (LoD) Risk and Control framework, assessment, risk mitigation measures and risk steering & monitoring
- A large part of the role is advising on potential regulatory risk issues
- First-Point-of-Contact between various stakeholders (Compliance, Risk, Legal, Management, etc.)
- Lead projects relating to the compliance/risk/legal matters.
**Our requirements**:
- Do you have a minimum of 5 years (more the better) of experience within a Compliance environment (Banking/Consulting/Financial Services/etc.), Consulting, Front Risk or Risk role
- Do you hold a degree (banking/Finance/business/etc.) or equivalent certification (ACAM, ICA, CAS, MAS, etc.)
- Your experience can also come from working for a number of years as an (senior) Assistant in Private Banking with special knowledge and experience in KYC Onboarding (further education)
- Do you have experience working with South/Latin American clients
- Do you have some knowledge of CDB Swiss Banking regulations, (KYC/CDD/Onboarding/Reviewing)
- Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Portuguese or Spanish
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
