**Public Reporting - ESG Reporting Manager**:**

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead the virtual team responsible for the analysis and interpretation of new ESG accounting and reporting requirements. Drive the detailed impact analysis of these requirements and liaise with partners to understand both technical, process and control impacts.
- Create and maintain a library of ESG disclosures, including the reporting requirements, methodology and the data sources for the disclosures.
- Be responsible for the Group’s ESG disclosures and use your deep accounting and reporting knowledge to review, challenge and report ESG disclosures.
- Develop and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders both within CFO and across business areas and other corporate functions outside the CFO group.
- Design and help implement the Group’s ESG Reporting Controls Framework. This includes educating stakeholders on controls and working with them to identify and document front to back controls on their ESG reporting.
- Provide project management across all Group Finance ESG Reporting deliverables
- Design the governance over CFO related ESG Reporting and represent CFO on various internal ESG governance forums.
- Coordinate the preparation of notes to the quarterly and annual financial statements as prepared by various ABB personnel.
- Reviewing, prior to publication, the accuracy of externally reported information (in quarterly press releases, presentations to analysts, and Capital Market Day presentations), prepared by Investor Relations (GF-IR) and Corporate Controlling (GF-CO), including validating information and review of calculations.

**Your background**:

- Masters level degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Professional certification from recognized accounting and/or ESG designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience within Public reporting, Internal controls or a Big 4 accounting firm, preferably in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting, reporting and controls with genuine enthusiasm and ability for researching and solving accounting, reporting and operational issues is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to identify, understand and research complex issues/risks. Develop solutions that resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Experience in the field of ESG Reporting is desirable.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to take complex ESG reporting requirements and explain them in everyday language and build positive relationships with internal clients in different locations to understand and address their needs.
- Change management experience, project leadership skills with ability and experience of driving projects, delivering end to end.
- Outgoing and engaging in interpersonal style with the ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels including those outside of the finance function.
