Located in Zurich, the company has a European outreach.
To support the company´s growth as well as the launch of a European Sustainable Energy Fund focusing on energy efficiency projects, we are looking to fill several roles for Project Finance Investment Professionals.
Tasks
- depending on experience, managing the deal process end to end i.e. from origination, defining the optimal financing structure, termsheet negotiation, due diligence incl. credit risk assessment to executing the transaction documents
- gathering market data for business development, including approaching potential project partners and attending industry network events
- conducting client relationship management for energy service companies, equipment manufacturers, project developers as well as the public sector
- providing advisory services to our clients in setting up their business models in partnerships with Solas Capital
- supporting the portfolio management function
**Requirements**:
- proven track-record in the solar, energy efficiency or infrastructure project finance industry (preferably 3-7 years of relevant work experience)
- third-level degree or masters
- hands on experience in transaction execution
- fluency in English and business proficiency in one of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French or Polish
- Swiss work permit or EU citizenship
- problem-solving mindset
- ability to work independently, and enjoy business development strong interest in, and enthusiasm for, sustainability and climate impact finance
- sound knowledge of project finance debt/bonds, securitization structures, private debt, or real asset alternative investments
- relevant industry network to energy service companies, law firms and advisors
- strong interest in transforming the energy system towards decentralized renewable generation and energy efficiency solutions
