Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten:

- Build and maintain network of industry/market shapers, and foster connections with relevant BBIO functions.
- With an eye on opportunities and trends beyond our currently established solutions, technology base and customer segments: Contribute to the continuous strategy work and help creating overall BBIO strategic direction, closely supporting your peers in the team.
- Derive BBIO positioning and target brand from strategy and align with Group Marketing on brand management
- Provide insights and requirements to R&D technology portfolio.
- Support the consolidation of group level strategy into annual BBIO StratPlan presentation, and support dissemination of strategic priorities into the BBIO organization. Potentially serve as a strategy business partner to one or several Markets together with your peers in the team.
- This may include:

- To support deriving and prioritizing strategic initiatives.
- To collaborate with your peers in the team in KPI development.
- Create a framework for informed decision making (data driven) based on technology trends, key opinion leaders input and market trends, that can be used in exploring potential growth cases.
- Support and align with your peer strategy and market intelligence function in the development of market insights (on trends, purchasing behaviors, competitive landscape, etc.) and proposes strategies to expand market research
- Refine threats and opportunities from the Strategy for the BBIO business and translate those into (untapped) customer needs.
- Be the key enabler and orchestrater in the identification of (unseen) growth opportunities based on the group strategy: Together with your peers in the team, and particularly together with relevant Market Product Managers, Market Managers, R&D, and Finance, prepare promising cases for presentation to the EMT.
- Be instrumental in supporting and convincing key stakeholders and market managers in their growth ambition and priority setting without direct authority or decision-making right.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Is responsible to translate this knowledge into the team.
- The role is part of BBIOs Strategy team, works and aligns closely with its peers as well as Group President, Division Presidents, Market Managers and further, as required.

Qualifikationen:

- Graduate (minimum) qualification in an appropriate science, advanced degree preferred
- Direct experience with growth-oriented projects
- Demonstrated ability to write and present clearly and persuasively
- Excellent public speaker: able to communicate passion about the organization, and move people emotionally
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a compelling way to a variety of audiences
- High degree of initiative and energy, “can-do” attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills including strong work ethic, impeccable integrity, and judgment
- Business acumen, high degree of identification with the organization and its targets
