Global Manager Esg Reporting and Controls

In this role you will be part of Global Controlling organization and reporting to the Regional Controller EMEA. You will join our organization as Sr Manager ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). This is a new role within our function which plays a critical role in developing, managing and overseeing our ESG/sustainability data management and reporting approach including software systems, protocols, internal controls and governance. You will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, procurement, engineering, human resources, and sustainability teams.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- ESG Reporting Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management, internal Stakeholders and external consultants to support current and develop new ESG reporting for the company (CSRD, CBAM etc)
- Policy and Framework Implementation: Design and implement ESG policies, guidelines, and frameworks in alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. Ensure the policies are effectively communicated across the organization.
- Reporting - Work with external auditors to create a Global CSRD reporting which meets TE Connectivity LTD but as well company wide Legal Entity reporting requirements
- Data Management: Oversee data collection, verification, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of ESG data. Collaborate with relevant teams to implement effective data management systems and tools to enable compliant global, regional and LE reporting requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing the company's ESG process and controls and propose innovative solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and track the effectiveness of implemented initiatives.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Stay up-to-date with evolving ESG regulations, standards, and disclosure requirements. Identify and assess potential ESG risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliance and minimize reputational and operational risks, in conjunction with global government affairs and risk management teams.
- Closely monitor ESG developments on CSRD, CBAM, Plastic taxes and other upcoming developments and build networks with peers on interpretations and best practices
- TE Systems - collaborate with TEIS during the upcoming S4 implementation to guarantee ESG compliance.

**Qualifications and Responsibilities Required**:

- University Degree in economics, accounting or similar
- 12-15+ years of experience in reporting, extensive knowledge in external reporting and compliance, and a passion for ESG reporting. Experience in working in an international environment and matrix structure.
- Experience with reporting systems and MS Office
- Fluent English language required

- Strong project management skills with the drive to achieve results on time with good quality
