In order to reinforce the Medical department of the Swiss affiliate, located in Vernier (Geneva), we have created a new role and are now looking for a

**MEDICAL AFFAIRS PROFESSIONAL Diabetes (Switzerland)**

**Job responsibilities**:
Role Definition: the Medical Affairs Professional (MAP) is a therapeutically-aligned scientist whose primary role is to represent Medical Affairs in the cross-functional partnership with the brand team to meet both external customer and internal business needs. MAPs also provide key support to the Clinical Research Physician/Scientist (CRP/S) roles. Thus, the focus of the role is specifically internal.

Core Responsibilities: The activities below are the core responsibilities of a MAP and comprise the majority of their time.

Brand Team Support:

- Develop decks and curricula for internal trainings, to cover the needs of both Medical and commercial/Sales force.
- Perform medical review of promotional materials for the whole diabetes portfolio.
- Customers insight analysis and other internally-driven projects (medical affairs databases and scorecards, budget management, Key Opinion Leaders Engagement process, etc.).

Scientific Expertise:

- Serve as a scientific resource for the brand team, contributing to the creation of medical information deliverables and supporting scientific data disclosures (e.g. scientific disclosures encore plan).

Customer Support:

- Support Lilly Meetings (Meetings to Educate, Scientific Exchange and Consultancies) and responding to unsolicited requests from HCPs.

**Job requirements**:
Holder of a higher university degree in Life Sciences. Experience in medical affairs, in particular in the diabetes therapeutic area is a strong plus. Proficiency in at least 2 out 3 of the following languages is a desired: German, French, English.

You have developed strong project management skills, you enjoy working cross-functionally and have a strong team spirit, with the ability to create a positive working environment to achieve common goals. You possess a strong performance-oriented mindset. You are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects to deliver on time and with quality. You have excellent written and oral communications skills, and you can adapt your message according to the audience. You are customer-focused and like to present and discuss data with an internal audience.
