**Quality Manager & Lead IMS (M/F/d)**

**JOB PURPOSE**

The position aims to ensure that internal processes are performed in compliance and consistent according to a set and fit for purpose management system, so that the quality of products and services provided by the site are of a high-quality standard and meet both external and internal requirements. As such, the position is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Site Integrated Management System and its implementation and roll out through the site. In addition, the position aims to ensure that regulatory requirements and customer expectations are known and understood, evaluated and that resulting actions are implemented, so that relationships with partners and customers are effective.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Quality Manager (QM) & Lead IMS develops and maintains the Site Integrated Management System (IMS), creates transparency for all employees and develops the Integrated Management System further in the sense of a continuous improvement process. Therefore, the QM & IMS Lead liaises with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the Integrated Management System is functioning properly. Where appropriate, the QM & IMS Lead advises on changes and how to implement them and initiates/provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve high quality and HSE standards. The QM & IMS Lead also participates in global and regional Quality communities to share best practices and discuss roll out of new procedures and requirements, thus establishing in depth work relation to various Risk Management Groups (e.g., regional & global).

**Specific Tasks and Responsibilities are**:

- Responsible for the improvement and maintenance of the site Integrated Management System, maintaining site certificates and being the contact person for authorities regarding registration requests and questions
- Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
- Management of legal and other requirements at the site & country level Management, implementation and roll out of internal Bayer Policies (enactment), Directives and Procedures and support regarding LCS net and country requirements (CAPA)
- Setting Standards for Quality and health and safety on site with regards to the site integrated Management System
- Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
- Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business
- Responsible for the Site audit management (planning, execution, traceability) in close collaboration with the quality assurance manager, responsible for the site CAPA management
- Participation and fostering the exchange in Bayer quality communities, and being the site contact person for regional quality group
- Compilation of Management Review

**WHO YOU ARE**
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or natural sciences with a strong Quality and/or HSE background (or relevant professional experience in the production environment)
- Solid quality management systems knowledge and experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in quality and / or HSE management systems, and 5-10 years of working experience in a chemical (or similar production) environment
- Auditing experience preferred
- People and leadership skills, with experience in cross-functional teams and/or in leading teams with formal and informal authority by collaboration and influencing
- Solid motivational skills, excellent team player, and well developed partnering / stakeholder management skills
- Change and project management capabilities
- Strong (internal) customer focus and communication skills
- German language skills are a must, English a plus
