**Head of Planning & Performance Management - Income Statement**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- 1. Planning and Performance Management process
- Ensure end to end oversight and accountability of all aspects of planning, rolling forecast, management reporting and analysis of Income statement.
- Design analytical frameworks, set standards and core requirements, deploy those through the appropriate governance and operations (separate team)
- Provide analytical coverage of topline (orders, backlog, revenues), margins, cost, other components of income statement for the Group, with relevant analysis for Business Areas and Divisions.
- Be ready to triangulate past performance and forward-looking projections, see trends and anomalies, bring data driven insights.
- Ensure quality of management reporting packages to inform Executive Committee, CFO/CEO, ABB Board of the group performance. Provide similar capabilities for Business teams and throughout the organization. Partner with Governance and operations team for delivery.
- Work with Corporate strategy and Investor relations to bring macro, market, and competitive analysis with relevance to ABB.
- Evaluate design and reasonableness of key performance indicators, monitor performance against plan and align inventive structures with the performance ambition.
- 2. Finance Transformation Program and building next-level analytical capability
- Leverage the foundation established by Finance Transformation Program. Ensure that global standard management reporting capabilities are deployed in the best way to analyze financial information and derive insights.
- Bring forward ideas to use the data in the best way for the benefit of Group, Businesses, Division and throughout the organization.
- Lead on the adoption of digitization, co-design new analytics, tap into data science and advance analytics where relevant.
- Identify areas of improvement and drive initiatives to advance organizational and functional capabilities across ABB.
- 3. Establish collaboration mechanism with businesses in line with ABB Way operating model, partner for outcomes
- Establish partnership and collaboration with business teams and cross-functionally.
- Provide analytical frameworks, insights and collaborate with businesses to improve quality of revenues, target profitability levers.
- Bring best practices and continuous improvement mindset. Balance servant leadership while be ready to challenge the status quo.
- 4. Managerial responsibilities
- Manage a team of financial analysts, attract, and grow talent.
- Provide thought leadership and partner with Corporate FP&A team peers to ensure quality of outcomes (with Governance and Operations team, with Digital Labs and Advance analytics teams, with Finance Transformation program teams).
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of proven track record in financial planning and analysis or finance management.
- Leadership experience in driving topline revenue growth, profitability enhancement or business turnaround in the business is a big plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and performance recommendations. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic mindset and ability to navigate through ambiguity, excellent problem-solving skills. Experience in working global organizations with decentralized operating models is a plus.
- Ambition to advance the FP&A organization with the use of technology, data, data science.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, attract talent and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
