**Vacancy**:Head of Accounting (English / German / French) - Zürich (f/m/x)**:
- We are looking for a **Head of Accounting** speaking **English / German / French **for our client, an international company based in **Zürich**. For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. The support, placement and all of our additional services are free of charge for you as the applicant.
**Your Responsibilities as** **Head of Accounting (English / German / French) - Zürich (f/m/x)**
- Preparation, controlling and the timely reporting of results of operations
- Responsibilities over a variety of aspects of the company accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets. This includes all Group entities.
- Perform month-end close, controlling, and financial reporting.
- Perform accounting related tasks including general ledger accounting, monthly close including controlling, and financial audits in compliance
- Maintain, and execute accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported.
- Prepare and settle VAT and taxes in a timely manner.
- Identify insights to inform optimal business decisions and financial planning.
**Your Qualification and Skills**
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar function
- Fluent in **English / German / French**:
- Strong systems skills with **Navision**, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with **Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS**:
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Solves problems effectively, result and goal oriented problem-solving problems skills seeing every challenge as an opportunity for innovation and success
- Highest standards of ethics and integrity
