**Position Summary**

Nestlé Research is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, employs approximately 1000 people and is comprised of five Nestlé Institutes: Food Sciences, Health Sciences, Food Safety & Analytical Sciences, Packaging Sciences, and Agricultural Sciences. **A Day in the Life of a (Junior) Research Assistant**
- Promote awareness and commitment to Quality & Safety, Health, Environment (QSHE) across the Institute.
- Plan project objectives, report on experimentation and results in a timely manner, and present findings to interested parties.
- Collaborate and interact with team members to ensure effective project management.
- Provide technical assistance and support to operations or business with sustainable solutions.
- Follow operational master plan and comply with Good Laboratory Practice.
- Coach newcomers on laboratory requirements, including QSHE.
- Develop competencies in in vitro toxicology field and actively support expert network for cross-fertilization between different sites.

**What will make you successful**
- Degree equivalent to research assistant (lab technician) with good experience on Best Laboratory Practices and in vitro testing.
- Knowledge of quality, safety and hygiene requirements.
- Basic R&D or/and operating/factory experience.
- First exposure in different project and support activities of the organization.
