**Group Head of Sustainability**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- Set a clear vision and strategy for the Sustainability function, with a consistent, decentralized approach and ensuring commitment from senior management.
- Continue providing the organization with a Sustainability framework that clearly defines consistent expectations for all stakeholders, cultivating and reinforcing appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors. Develop subsequent action plans, procedures and guidelines to support businesses in delivering the Sustainability 2030 targets and objectives.
- Update the Strategy as needed in order take into account the evolution of stakeholders’ expectations. Track performance by developing the appropriate performance management system in collaboration with finance, legal and auditing functions.
- Continue focusing on results: leverage data, analytics and KPIs setting and reporting in order to track performance improvement.
- Promote a culture of excellence, by tracking initiatives and promoting best practices in addition to quantitative information reporting.
- Define new needs in terms of data analytics and reporting IT systems as appropriate.
- Act as ABB representative towards the external as well as internal stakeholders in all matters related to Sustainability.
- Chair the group Sustainability Council to enable the sustainability strategy roll out and objectives / action plans implementation.
- Manage the company wide Sustainability network through the Sustainability Council.
- Maintain an understanding of international best practices and standards to ensure that ABB’s ESG policies and procedures remain best-in-class. Lead the definition of ESG future reporting in collaboration with the finance team.
- Provide input to the communication team in order to keep communication aligned with Sustainability strategy implementation.

**Your background**:

- S/he will be comfortable working in an international and dynamic environment where working cross-organizationally and engaging diverse stakeholders combined with recognized talent for building relationships based on mutual trust and respect to accomplish strategic objectives is of essence.
- While experience in the engineering and machinery sector would be beneficial but not a prerequisite, s/he will be highly familiar with the manufacturing industrial environment that involves a global footprint with many different manufacturing and engineering sites across the world. Finally, s/he will have a strong commercial acumen and clearly understands how a function like Sustainability Affairs can proactively contribute to a company’s business imperatives and performance.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and convince in a decentralized organization.
