SYSTEMIQ connects the right people, ideas, technologies, and capital to transform our economic systems. We do this through four main activities:

- Convene and support coalitions of leaders to shape policies and business strategies that will rapidly transform economic activity
- Co-create and incubate the market solutions most likely to build regenerative economic systems
- Advise companies and financial institutions that will pioneer and drive change towards more sustainable systems
- Invest our own venture capital and expertise in opportunities with the biggest potential to drive rapid system change

We focus on clean energy, circular material solutions, transforming land use and oceans, and sustainable finance. We believe that disruptions in these systems are not only vital to the future of humanity and our planet, they also create immense opportunities for the investors and businesses that drive them.

Mainstreaming sustainable finance is a critical part of this journey to shift capital out of destructive, extractive sectors and into low-carbon, inclusive and resilient systems.

SYSTEMIQ is currently working with one of its key long-term partners, on setting up state-of-the-art industry and thematics research unit within its asset management arm that will focus entirely on company and industry analysis from a transition lens to build out a high ambition multi-asset class sustainability portfolio.

**Position:**:We are looking for an associate who will co-shape a new sustainability unit of one of SYSTEMIQ’s long-term strategic partners that will be dedicated to company and industry analysis from a transition lens to build out a high ambition, multi-asset class sustainability portfolio.

Ideally, you will have a mix of industry and investing experience coupled with a solid understanding of the sustainability transition. You will have passion aligned with our mission to accelerate the shift of capital towards a more sustainable future. You are keen to work with clients/partner organizations to define and manage delivery of system change solutions, either in a specific system or across energy, nature and material systems.

You will be working closely with SYSTEMIQ teams to build the new sustainable industry investment research unit. You will be closely involved in the engagement to deliver breakthrough insights, action, and results for portfolios and clients. You will support in developing net zero and sustainable investment strategies & tools in a rapidly changing environment - while working in teams to identify investment opportunities across new technologies and business models that can shift capital towards a low-carbon, nature-positive, equitable economic system.

You will ideally be working from offices located in London or Geneva, although working from other European cities or hybrid working models are open for discussion.

**Requirements:**:SYSTEMIQ and its long-term partner are looking for individuals with a strong record of excellence and achievement. You may have proven that in different contexts and are keen to work in an ambitious firm where you can get involved in a variety of work, shape the content and make maximum impact. You are passionate about sustainability, sustainable investing and system change.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with a focus on strategic challenges
- Industry/sectoral expertise (i.e. energy, industry, manufacturing, commodities, or agricultural) developed either first-hand - or through research/analytical experience - including forward-looking understanding of how sustainability and transition trends will shape markets
- First exposure or track-record from working with the finance industry - ideally with specific expertise in asset management and/or private equity
- Shared mission to use the financial system to accelerate the shift to a net zero, circular & resource-productive, regenerative & nature-positive inclusive economy
