The Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for assisting with LAN / WAN and help desk administration activities, including network maintenance, technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Citi Switzerland CTI organization is responsible for hosting and supporting the standard Wintel OS platform & common toolsets to be used locally as well as in interaction with global systems for secure systems, operational monitoring, proactive support and automation. You will report to the Swiss Head of CTI. You will be part of a core team building a standardized & compliant environment to better support our clients’ needs and meet Citi’s secure infrastructure as well as risk expectations. We will be building self-healing processes to meet our automation goals as Citi moves towards a more cloud-centric and containerized strategy.

As the Wintel Server Platform Architect, you will be working to bring multi-sector groups together, leading projects to move Citi forward in standardization, stability, security & usability all areas:
- **Description**:

- Risk and Compliance - Partner closely with OS Engineering, Operations and Risk teams to build systemic process that help maintain Citi’s system desired state and enforce compliance.
- Automation - lead Operations management and monitoring teams to self-heal/auto-fix common issues that are identified on servers. This will also include monitoring the reduction of manual tickets.
- Working closely with our Engineering and Sector aligned Operational teams to improve “testing” and “time to market” - championing next gen products and platforms.
- Coordinate with Platform Engineering to design and own the server lifecycle CI/CD pipeline for Wintel to allow the seamless delivery of the standard build and standard infrastructure components across Citi from Dev/Lab > UAT > Prod > COB with a seamless automated process.
- Work with cloud engineering architects to help Plan, build, integrate, administer, and support on-prem and multiple cloud-based platforms for Wintel servers.
- Citi container strategy - help drive Wintel container adoption across Citi.
- Work with bare metal infrastructure by combining automation and Kubernetes to provide flexible compute resources
- Implement unit and functional tests using mock frameworks to deliver high quality infrastructure products.
- Monitoring, maintenance and support of Microsoft Windows family servers; ensuring that global standards are maintained.
- Resolution of customer incident tickets relating to services supported within defined timeframes.
- Provide on call support for the Local CTI Infrastructure.
- Identification, analysis, ownership and resolution of repeat incidents leading to permanent resolution.
- Resolution of customer requests.
- Delivery of work packages assigned to the group by central project managers, and of tasks assigned by the group manager.
- Provide technical support to local Wintel SA team within agreed service standards ensuring that all relevant parties are kept advised of progress - ensuring integration of global standards and cross-border collaboration
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements to existing processes, or definition of new processes/procedures and updating documentation as necessary.
- Host cross platform and cross organization calls to get stakeholders involved and drive inclusion.
- Willingness to adopt new technologies & concepts; while being ready to dive deep into complex problems
- Specialized knowledge of Orchestration pathways and advanced understanding of working with PowerShell & Ansible in a highly critical enterprise environment.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to bring into the platform

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years of managing Wintel infrastructure in a multinational corporate environment.
- Capable of designing, deploying and supporting complex solutions.
- Must be able effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Must be a strong team player.
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems from Windows Server 2012 through Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, Directory Services & System Center knowledge is a must.
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Exchange & SQL Server is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions
- A passion for the customer which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience.

- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
