We are looking for an **Associate Director
- **Biomedicines Switzerland **for our Swiss affiliate based in Vernier, Geneva.

**Purpose of Position**:
Accountable for leading the people development, growth and coaching of the Biomedicines Business Unit in order to maximize the volume of patients treated in Switzerland. Deliver impact to all customers through driving meaningful experiences to drive impact to patients.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**People**:

- Creates an inclusive and patient centric culture focused on ensuring strong focus on volume growth for key brands by cutting across organizational boundaries, driving simplicity and focus.
- Focuses on attracting, coaching, developing and retaining key talent and promoting at the right time to maximize the people and business.
- Drives strong results through prioritization and minimizing bureaucracy, to help people focus on what matters most to help patients.
- Effectively communicate across teams and global partners to accelerate, innovate and drive shared consciousness.

**Patients**:

- Operates with high integrity, complies with Lilly policies and procedures, external legal and compliance requirements and coaches to the high standards
- Willing to develop external relationships with key TLs including HCPs and other stakeholders when needed to maximize impact
- Understands the Swiss biomedicines landscape, internally and externally in order to develop clear and simple marketing strategy and operational plans in order to maximize impact to patients.
- Has external orientation, leveraging best practices and opportunities from across the industry. Willing to visit customers and leverage understanding of local needs.
- Leads team in customer council and business plan processes, identifying and prioritizing trade-offs to maximize impact to patients in in Switzerland
- Accountable to develop insights through strong and effective measurement.

**Performance**:

- Cultivates a high integrity, inclusive, winning culture aligned to the affiliate and corporate goals as well as the desire to maximize outcomes for patients.
- Accountable for the commercialization and growth of biomedicines products, including those in pipeline, with an intense focus on volume growth for the focus brands.
- Accountable for the P&L of the biomeds business unit with a key focus on improving revenue for growth products and optimizing OPEX within the business unit.
- Ensure optimal spend of OPEX, control spend within budget targets, develop business cases when buy up/downs are needed and provide periodic OPEX forecasts
- Develops and implements measurement plans in order to drive execution excellence and develops insights from those plans.
- Devises acceleration or course corrections as needed, to achieve /exceed planned results
- Identifies best practices for replication and sharing across the affiliate both within marketing and independent of marketing
- Strives for excellence in not only the results but also how the results are achieved. Looks for innovative approaches to delivering results.

You will manage a team and report to the Associate VP-General Manager, Switzerland.

**Position Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of Marketing, Finance or relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Proven leadership experience, formal or informal
- Experience in working with and leading cross functional teams
- Ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment
- Strong organizational skills and a willingness to get into details and drive clarity.

**Education**:Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Science

**Languages**: English mandatory, German and/or French desired.
