**Job Description**:
L&H Centralized Pricing Team is a highly regarded team of senior actuaries with expertise across many markets and product lines.
We are looking to hire an Actuarial Data Analyst to join our team. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development and enhancement of the pricing tools and reporting.
- Create and maintain documentation of R-based tools and processes
- Ensure that models are developed and maintained in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement automation scripts to improve the efficiency and accuracy of actuarial processes
- Pricing Tools testing
- Developing and enforcing best practices for model governance, including a robust control framework and appropriate model testing and documentation
- Ad-hoc pricing analysis using R and other software
- Active cooperation and support with pricing community in regards to data analysis, benchmark development, pricing tools, GLM, ad-hoc analysis and other project
- Conduct research and develop innovative solutions to improve existing models and methodologies
- Various pricing related reporting
- Peer reviews support
**Qualifications**:
Technical:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming in R and Shiny
- Experience with package and library development
- Knowledge of best programming practices: unit testing, technical technical documentation, code encapsulation
- Fluency with version control (especially gitlab)
- Ability to write well-structured production-ready code
- Ability to quickly create Proofs of Concept and present them to the stakeholders
- General knowledge of common software deployment models
- Ability to test/validate/review peer written code
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
The following experiences and knowledge are plus:
- In-depth knowledge of renv, tidyverse, and ggplot
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud and DevOps/GitLab
- Python programming skills
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker)

- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly cooperative, flexible, and enthusiastic team-player
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience in the life insurance/reinsurance industry preferred
