Johnson & Johnson is undertaking a major strategic transformation of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) landscape over the next 3 years. This role will be within our J&J Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) organization, working at the intersection of business strategy, human-centered design, and emerging technology platform/program delivery. It could be office-based or remote in US or EMEA with a capability to overlap 5 hours into Raritan, NJ business day.

As Director of Identity Access Governance & Administration, you will support access and provisioning for all workforce identities to all assets across the business. You will optimize the enforcement of multifactor authentication for critical assets and enablement of single sign-on for all other identities. Leveraging SSO and MFA, your team can more effectively manage insider threats and cyber-attacks. In conjunction, a Zero Trust strategy will be implemented to complement the existing authentication processes and strengthen the network.

This role requires technical experience in multiple areas like zero trust strategies, authentication protocols, provisioning and access management, user network access, single sign-on, adaptive, multifactor, and passwordless authentication.

**Specific responsibilities**:

- Improves strategies for the delivery of IAM services across J&J’s global footprint. Builds future-ready capabilities to accelerate business growth strategies. Facilitates and coordinates priorities with suppliers, IT Infrastructure Services departments, and Business IT groups
- Creates opportunities for efficiency through innovative strategic decisions balancing cost and quality while maintaining appropriate levels of compliance and security
- Uses existing solutions and expertise to manage business partners’ expectations, balancing business needs and regional/global solutions
- Partners with Security and Enterprise Architects to identify and evaluate emerging technologies and products for potential in the IAM ecosystem
- Builds a consistent view of information that supports business decisions and enables tracking of business performance. Implements strong analytic tools that improve decision-making and enable automation
- Develops plans, implementation timelines, and deployment schedules for IAM initiatives. Oversee engineering, support, and maintenance of the Enterprise IAM systems
- Delivers high-quality work outcomes and customer service in a high-pressure fast paced setting to meet company needs
- Leads recruitment, development, and management of a team of IT professionals, ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusivity, fostering collaboration, performance management, training, accountability of metrics, and compliance with all policies and procedures
- Maintains key vendor relationships across the platforms and services that include the primary platforms (Microsoft, Ping, Radiant SAP, Akamai, OneIdentity)
- Develop adaptive, multifactor, and single sign-on authentication capabilities for identities and associated roles
- Provide effective, frictionless authentication of people and devices

**Qualifications** Required Competencies**:

- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a track record of successful enterprise experience. Graduate degree preferred
- At least 10 -12 years of broad IT infrastructure experience with 5+ years of IAM Engineering, architecture, and operational support in a multi-platform
