**EMEA Make Self Care Lead** provides the framework for execution of strategies and oversight of implementation of those tactics on key processes and investments supporting internal and external Self Care plants and product lifecycle. The role actively shapes and executes the development of regional strategies, tactics, and programs to achieve short
- and medium-term Resilience, Margin, enhancement and Sustainability targets and business plans. The role acts as single point of contact for managing the performance of Self Care External Manufacturers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Have a Collaborative responsibility for overall performance of the Self Care External manufacturing sites.
- Ensure that standards and excellence initiatives routed through the MAKE teams are executed in the Self Care network in the region
- Accountability for Resilience Program and identifying and activating multiple sources of supply, across geographies with access to incremental manufacturing capacity to be able to respond to dynamic demand fluctuations.
- Responsible for CIP Funnel enhancement in Self Care and actively drive achievement of Self Care margin enhancement targets.
- Responsible for overall External Manufacturing Responsibility for Self Care including being the single point of accountability for achievement of External manufacturers service, margin and inventory targets.
- Drive sustainability in Self Care by developing and implementing initiatives in line with J&J’s Healthy Lives Mission across Healthy Planet, Healthy People and Empowered Employees.
- Set site strategy within the cluster in alignment with network strategy and define operational plan to execute it balancing the EM and IM components.
- Translate business/commercial strategy into clear and compelling goals to engage others around the vision
- Provide clear direction for leadership team of Self Care site leaders to ensure clarity of expectations and responsibilities
- Define operational plan to execute the network strategy balancing the EM and IM components
- Influence across the matrix and collaborate with other functional (e.g. R&D, MS&T, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Finance, IT, HR, Planning) and Supply Chain leaders to ensure alignment between on-site functional leaders with the broader cluster and site goals and priorities
- Complete strategic/value stream projects as they are tied to the business—ensure goals are tied to commercial priorities
- Drive continuous improvement through JJPS and functional expertise with maximizing the strategic goals/broader network priorities
- Balance the tactical day-to-day execution with plant managers vis a vis the strategic focus to prepare the plant to respond to future internal needs and external trends (customer and market needs)
- Build effective working relationships between the Self Care sites to improve interoperability
- Deliver service goals for the cluster, managing BCP and delivery.
- Provide leadership for all internal and external operations business processes with accountability to manage and sustainably improve those processes and outcomes for EHS, quality & compliance, cost, reliability, and talent (technical and leadership capabilities, diversity)
- Improve E2E Product Supply performance across the Cluster entities balancing productivity, responsiveness, and agility through an integrated approach across functions
- Build talent pipeline and capability for the future leaders of the organization with an integrated lens of EM and IM talent.
- Responsible for deploying the manufacturing strategies with an E2E customer focus across the selfcare network of the region (internal sites, external sites and/or focused work centers)
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Self Care External manufacturers for the regional Supply Chain and the business

- Regional Consumer MAKE LT, including all Consumer sites and EM leaders in the region
- EMEA Self Care Leadership Team member and Leader of ‘Self Care Manufacturing Site Leaders’ community
- EMEA and Global Sustainability Leaders Community

**Qualifications**
**Qualifications, required knowledge, skilss and abilities**:

- Multi-years’ experience in Self Care and Make environment is critical
- 15 + years of experience in overall SC, plant operations, experience gained in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid financial and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively partner, influence and deliver results in a matrixed environment and multicultural region
- Ability to lead the analysis of complex business processes using various tools such as process mapping, financial modeling, metrics, measures and statistical tools
- Ability to lead a team of professionals with diverse skills and competencies spanning business and technical - located remotely
- Strategic skills demonstrated by an ability to create a vision for the operating team linked to overall business goals
