The Sales Manager is in charge of the development and the performance of the brand under his responsibility, for Switzerland. She/He represents and manages the brand towards the retailers. She/He is in charge of the achievement of sales target and strategy set by the management.

**ACTIVITIES**:

- Definition with the Regional Commercial Director of the short and middle term strategy for the territory under his responsibility, in accordance with the brand's strategic objectives
- Setting up, implementation and participation at the commercial strategy and the realization of the objectives outlined in the regional annual business plan (qualitative and quantitative objectives)
- Protection of the brand image and trade-marks
- The Sales Manager is the brand contact on the market. His role is to represent and defend brand interests on the territory under his responsibility
- Management of the Marketing and sales budget and definition of dedicated plans on the swiss market
- Manage the sales coordinator

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**:
**A - Local Commercial Plan**
- Realization of an annual local plan under the supervision of the Regional Commercial Director, in total respect of brand strategy:

- Analyze specific market and brand positioning
- Establish sales objectives and sales margin
- Define and evaluate means to be put into place (brand direct costs e.g Push Money)
- Define commercial policy (Discount structure, )
- Define product line policy (Assortment, Stock Management within dealers to minimize return of 2c)
- Define product forecast (three times a year)
- Launch planning and associated strategies
- Define training policy
- Submit and obtain approval of his/her strategy, by Regional Commercial Director, then obtain brand validation.
- Operational implementation of annual plan and commercial follow-up, in respect of the brand’s specific rules:

- Manage the opening and closing of client accounts and outstanding credits, in coordination with Regional Commercial Director.
- Manage price, margin and discount policies
- Maintain close control over distribution network to ensure that the brand is well represented and promoted
- Develop close relationship with the key players within the trade.

**B- Merchandising**:

- Define with Regional Commercial Director the merchandising plan and implement it.

**C - Sales Policy**
- Responsible for revenue generation in Switzerland according to the monthly split of the Business Plan.
- Ensure the proper implementation of BAUME & MERCIER sales policy for all the watches in respect of the distribution strategy
- Ensure the achievement of commercial targets set by the management.
- Set up follow up tools (i.e reporting) to allocate resources in terms of products (stock report, sell-out reports).
- Responsible for advising sales budgeting and long term sales strategy.
- Responsible for Selling expenses Budget

**D- Sales Network**:

- Liaise with and further develop our relationship with local distributors.
- Contribute to the overall quality improvement of the BAUME & MERCIER presence and visibility in our distribution network. (location, new Point of Sales)
- Responsible for the development of the network / Control quality of POS per agreed guidelines
- Establish Assortment and improve the quality of the stock within the dealers

**E- Training**
- To propose and advise on Counter Staff training programs and Counter Staff sales incentives

**F-Marketing and communication**
- Build an annual communication / activation plan for the market and with the key partners
- Manage the marketing budget for Swiss market (A&P, Trade, event etc)

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Fluent in French, German and English mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Customer centric approach
- Strong analytical and data analytics skills

- Result and solution oriented
- Driving licence mandatory
- Experience in sales (luxury business a strong plus) and management
- Ready to travel across Switzerland 60% to 80% of the time
