Principal/VP, Global Secondaries & Co-investments, Zurich, Switzerland or London, UK
**About our client**
We are working with a global investment manager whose private equity secondaries team is raising a €1.5bn fund. They are looking for a Principal/VP, who would focus on the full range of secondary transactions as well as co-investments in Europe. **What the job involves**
- Sourcing new secondary investment opportunities through relationships with GPs and intermediaries via dedicated regional coverage responsibilities
- Detailed review and due diligence of investment opportunities, including financial modelling, valuation and sensitivity analysis of single asset and multi-asset investment opportunities
- Prepare investment proposals and manage the closing process of transactions
- Ensure monitoring and reporting process of the investment portfolio
- Support in client facing activities such as update calls, investor and fundraising meetings
**Who we are looking for**
- University or equivalent degree in business administration, economics (with major in finance), engineering or similar
- Proven experience in private equity (primary fund and / or secondaries investments), with a background in M&A, transaction services, or finance
- Expertise in financial modelling (in particular financial statement analysis), financial accounting and corporate finance
- Fluent English, any other European language is an asset (especially French, Dutch or Nordic languages)
