The Department of Obstetrics and Fetomaternal Medicine at Inselspital Bern is a tertiary care center of maximum perinatal care. The Department conducts high-end preclinical, translational and clinical research as part of the University's research mandate. Furthermore, our Prenatal Medicine Re-search Team is currently participating in a large international research project called 'NewLife', funded by the European Union (Horizon KDT-JU Grant) as well as by Innosuisse and the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). The purpose of the project is to develop new non-invasive remote monitoring solutions to ensure the health of mothers and babies before and after birth, in a multidisciplinary research endeavor. To complement the team, we are looking for a Research Associate.
***The challenge**
- The focus of your position is the coordination and further development of the project NewLife at our department in the preclinical and further in the clinical stage, in close collaboration with the Project Consortium. The final research project aim is to shift healthcare from hospital to home environment using novel cutting edge surveillance and monitoring solutions. Publication of scientific results is possible and desired.
***Your profile**
- You have a master's or university degree in biomedicine, molecular biology, medicine or a similar field
- You are interested in science and have excellent analytical skills
- You like to work in a team, but at the same time you have a high degree of independence
- You have good communication skills and can easily communicate in German and English
