**Manager Strategy & Business Development LSB 100%**

Männedorf, Switzerland

**Your contribution**

In this challenging and important role you are responsible to drive selected strategic and /or business development projects (formulation to implementation). You will be working closely together with the top leadership of the business unit and you will be the interface to the Corporate Development Department regarding M&A/ Business Development topics.

**Strategy LSB**
- Drive strategic projects & strategy development within LSB and in coordination with group strategy
- Drive ad-hoc strategic projects for LSB (formulation to implementation)
- Drive ad-hoc requests and projects from EVP, Head LSB
- Support selected Tecan group strategic projects relevant to LSB

**Business Development LSB**
- Drive business development projects commissioned by the EVP, and SVP LSB
- Support business development planning and execution within LSB
- Support and drive ad-hoc projects and requests from EVP LSB
- Support M&A target screening and funnel nurturing in close collaboration with Corporate Development
- Support deal preparation and execution relevant to LSB, i.e., commercial DD work (e.g., voice of the customer analysis, market survey design and execution etc.)

**Your background**

- Master’s degree in Life Sciences / relevant disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering) or Business with relevant experience
- 2+ year experience in Management Consulting
- Business Development & M&A experience
- 1-2 years exposure to Life Science industry
- Hands-on experience in project management and execution
- Demonstrated experience in developing business plans and financial business cases (incl., understanding of P&L, NPV, DCF)
- You speak English fluently, German and any other languages are advantage
- You are passionate about life sciences / healthcare topics and for innovation & change
- You have well-developed communication skills and ability to convince at all levels - capacity to conceptualize, synthesize & communicate complex topics in engaging way
- You are skilled in quickly analyzing relevant data and deriving actionable insights (data-driven decision making)
