**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Leads privacy support for the region for corporate functions including HR, Global Services, Supply Chain, and HCC across the company implementing regional strategy and dealing with complex issues requiring a considerable level of judgment and latitude to make decisions that directly or indirectly impact the employees and HCPs.
- Led and/or assisted the DPO in developing a strategy for corporate functions within the EMEA region including translating global strategies to the regional level considering local external regulatory trends and environment.
- Supports the DPO and other privacy team members with advising senior leaders and partners of regional boards on critical projects. Rolls up enterprise-wide information for presentation to senior management regarding compliance performance and critical issues.
- Shapes the external regulatory and stakeholder environment through active participation in industry groups and other organizations
- Frequently responsible for relationship management, often at a senior level
- Working closely with other regional privacy leaders to ensure coordination of global corporate function privacy projects
- Training on data privacy together with other accountable functional groups, such as J&J Global Privacy and Information Security Risk Management teams.

**Qualifications** Position Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree
- Excellent English fluency is required, both written and oral; fluency in other languages spoken in the region preferred
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience in privacy
- Experience with, or a strong interest in, consumer healthcare
- Knowledge of technical jargon and the ability to translate it for colleagues that are not technical experts
- Strong business acumen, and experience with complex contract negotiations
- Prior experience working in a cross-functional, cross-country, and virtual environment preferred
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% of the time

- Able to demonstrate and drive high ethical, legal, and compliance standards
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, consider new business models and approaches, and simplify issues for clients
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, Ability to speak up, present and actively participate in business and legal discussions
