Key responsibilities
- Conduct primary (market and client) research and keep up to date with relevant market updates and trends to advance the sector knowledge of the entire team, and to create a differentiating client experience
- Help senior colleagues manage large and important clients and customer relationships, and occasionally manage smaller client relationships
- Take an active role in identifying and follow-up on cross-buy opportunities
- Work closely with product specialists to develop tailor made solutions that closely fit clients’ needs
- Drives forward the relevant commercial and credit approval processes, and ensures timely execution of client transactions and opportunities
- Actively support the team in prospecting and onboarding new clients
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying relevant stakeholders and product specialists, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and proposing adequate solutions
- Take part and contribute to internal projects and strategic initiatives
- Take a lead in the administration of the entire client relationship, including the onboarding of new clients and products, ensuring the appropriate compliance and regulatory requirements are met (“Know Your Customer”)
- Take ownership on risk management and follow the appropriate procedures to assess and mitigate financial risk and non-financial risk while operating simple standardized business processes, to protect the organization from undue risks

What are we looking for?
- Approx. 1 years to 4 years’ experience in the financial sector. Preferably in a role within a commercial bank
- Someone flexible to work both in Switzerland and abroad as the next step in their career
- Postgraduate (Master’s degree) preferably in Economics or Finance
- Customer and market analysis skill
- Customer-Focused Approach, understands customers’ needs and maintains effective customer and stakeholder relationship
- Can manage complexity with good business acumen
- Be able to negotiate effectively
- Highly collaborative personality, strong team player and ability to communicate effectively with clients, ING teams and senior management
- Action and solution driven
- A balanced commercial vs risk mindset
- Self-starter with can-do attitude that can work with a high degree of autonomy and is keen to take on responsibility
- International mindset
- Fluent in English, with German or French a plus
