**Cross-Asset Derivatives Sales Trainee (24 months)**
This position will be based in Zurich on a fixed-term contract basis for a duration of 24 months.

Start date of the program will be latest 26/08/2024 to join the onboarding and training weeks in our London Branch from 27/08 - 13/09/2024.

**YOUR TEAM**

You will work within the Corporate & Institutional Bank (CIB) and our Global Markets (GM) Division for our Private Banking and Distribution team and will be located on the trading floor in our Zurich Office. The team mandate covers a wide range of products across all asset classes and markets them to a variety of clients including Private Banks and Brokers based in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. You will get the chance to work with and alongside experienced professionals and learn about the Global Market Business Lines of a European player of reference.

**DAILY WORK**
- Assisting the Senior Marketers in their day-to-day activities as well as responsibilities and support them in any aspect of their mandate
- Pricing and marketing Derivatives Products across all Asset Classes (Equity, Credit and Rates)
- Taking ownership for client requests by triaging and prioritizing them and organizing their resolution in coordination with Senior Marketers, Structuring, Trading and other stakeholders
- Executing and trading of Derivatives Products based on client orders in primary as well as secondary markets
- Taking responsibility for the full After-Sales follow-up for all primary transactions in coordination with Senior Marketers, Trading, Structuring as well as Middle-Office and Back-Office
- Ensure follow up of client pitches and feedback to drive growth by ensuring we are bringing best in class solutions to clients
- Participate to the growth and expansion of the Private Bank client franchise in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
- Attending relevant in-house training programs to stay updated on regulatory, product and technical knowledge
- Collaborating with Global Markets teams in Switzerland, France and globally

**PROFILE**

You have completed or are about to soon complete your university degree with a strong focus on Banking, Finance and/or Economics. In particular, you have:

- Recently graduated from or about to complete the last semester at University in Banking/Economics/Finance
- A very strong interest in the area of Finance, Capital Markets and generally in Banking
- Preferably previous work experience (internship, etc.) within this or in a closely related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (our primary working language)
- French and/or German is an advantage
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, programming skills are an advantage

- A results-driven and self-motivated person combined with a strong team spirit
- Excelling at analysing and solving problems with a hands-on attitude and able to manage projects independently and successfully
