WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As Production Manager Electromechanics (M/F/d) you will be responsible in a key function for a modern and partly automated production (quantities > 100,000 pcs/year) at Rheinmetall Air Defence AG. You will lead, motivate and develop your employees (approx. 60 employees). In doing so, you will ensure and improve the requirements-oriented process in your department.
**Specifically, you will take on the following tasks**:
- Management of the production in time, quantity and quality according to planning specifications
- Monitoring, controlling and optimizing current production processes, especially with regard to customer-oriented order processing
- Optimization of processes, lead times and structures in the sense of a continuous improvement process
- Target-oriented approach to technical problems, changes and deviations from the normal case in production
- Expansion and assurance of LEAN production with a high degree of value added
- Management of employees incl. personnel and shift planning
- Professional coordination of task processing
- Customer contact and support
- Reporting to the superior
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Completed training as an electronics technician, polymechanic or comparable
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering
- Completed postgraduate diploma in the economic field
- Several years of management experience required
- Experience in the field of component manufacturing as well as in principles of LEAN management
- Business fluent German as well as good English skills
