First Climate Markets AG is a leading international service provider in the voluntary carbon offsetting and renewable energy markets. As a specialist, we cover the entire value chain including fulfilment of Carbon offsets and EACs, development of Projects to generate carbon offsets and advisory on corporate pathways to Net Zero. We maintain a commanding share of the corporate marketplace, are present in multiple industry sectors and are one of the foremost pioneers in the field of climate neutrality.
Key Responsibilities Include
In the areas of carbon neutrality and green energy the commercial market potential is outstanding and the development prospects are excellent. To realize this potential, we are looking for the right people to join our international sales team. You will report directly to the Head of International Sales. The main responsibilities are:
- Execute First Climate Market's sales strategy within the international corporate marketplace
- Proactively acquire, develop and manage key accounts
- Maintain a structured and documented sales activity plan with the aim of achieving a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities
- Foster strong and 'trusted advisor' relationships with key stakeholders at your prospective and managed accounts
- Penetrate key industry sectors which are aligned with the sales strategy
- Cultivate a relevant stakeholder network within certain key industry sectors and a knowledge of the main drivers and trends affecting their carbon strategy
- Represent the company at trade events/industry forums and be an ambassador for the First Climate brand
Specific Requirements
You have at least 3 to 4 years of corporate sales and/or account management experience and are familiar with the process of acquiring new customers and/or driving new business opportunities from existing customers. You will be familiar with growing and maintaining a pipeline of new business opportunities. A relevant university degree would be desirable. Similarly, relevant professional experience in renewable energy, corporate climate change solutions or sustainability would be very advantageous. Essential is your ability to professionally secure and manage clients plus navigate corporate hierarchies to find and then foster strong and resilient working relationships with the relevant decision-maker stakeholders. Business level fluency and written skills in English and German are essential. One or more of the following additional languages will be a distinct advantage: French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese.
