**Transformation Content and Communications Consultant (temporary)**:

The Content and Communications Consultant is responsible for developing and delivering high quality content and communications that increase stakeholder engagement around the Finance Transformation Program (FTP). This critical role will help support existing communications plans and ensure seamless communication between the program and key internal stakeholders. The role holder will be responsible for content and communications excellence in all material produced and activity conducted within the framework of the existing approved budget. The role holder will work both independently and with colleagues to proactively source ideas and opportunities for content and communications; develop and implement content for internal channels, adhering to corporate identity and brand guidelines; and provide communications advice and counsel for the program as required. This role is a contract-based role until December 2024. The location is flexible globally with a preference for a European time zone.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Support the program’s communications plan and develop messaging including promotional communications, editorial support, web content, and other relevant multi-media content
- Provide material to support local and global management on employee communication, presentations, events, etc, around FTP
- Advise on tools, tactics and activities adopted in pursuit of FTP and GBS communications goals, working with the Global Communications Lead to ensure a successful outcome
- Partner and strategize with the Global Communications Lead on key communications matters
- Research, write, and edit content for all relevant channels, including but not limited to, the ABB intranet (Insideplus), other websites, social media (Yammer), and print publications such as white papers, fliers, internal announcements, blogs, speeches, talking points, video scripts, etc
- Create and coordinate compelling multimedia content designed to engage target audiences, including images, infographics and video (in conjunction with specialist providers and external third-party producers as required)
- Develop, coordinate, and provide advice on graphic content, help develop concepts for written materials, and partner with/advise program teams to develop written and visual content for a variety of organizational needs
- Take responsibility for updating and maintaining relevant channels and media, including the FTP intranet (Insideplus), social media (Yammer), ABBTV, and support organization of Town Halls, Face-to-Face briefings with FTP deployment teams, and other relevant presentations
- Ensure executional excellence across all areas of responsibility outlined above for all communications activities and content, aligning with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines and global strategy
- Actively support GBS and FTP communications work by liaising between communications and other teams within FTP, including the change program team, learning and development team, and other relevant program team members, ensuring seamless interaction at all times
- Adhere to brand identity, corporate design and compliance requirements in all content and communications activity and develop an excellent awareness of the change program and detailed knowledge of its structure and key deliverables
- Play an active role as a member of the FTP communications team, enhancing and contributing to the flow of program information within GBS Hubs/Front Offices. Share knowledge and leverage best practices from across the organization

**Your background**:

- University level degree
- At least 10+ years relevant experience, working in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, ideally with transformation or other applicable experience
- Skilled storyteller with proven track record of strategizing on, planning, and creating, engaging digital, print and visual content and communication campaigns that include written copy, graphics, images, video
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; an ability to build positive professional relationships with a diverse team of colleagues, clients, partners, and community members
- Technology or software-related industry experience preferred
- Incredibly self-driven, detail-oriented, and organized; ability to maintain high productivity while balancing competing priorities, multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines
