Exciting opportunity at dsm-firmenich for a People Lead to join our Application & Formulation team. As our successful People Lead, you will oversee the EMEA team, focusing on and leading on all aspects of the P&O cycle. Your role will involve leading the team in setting goals, talent reviews, development plans, performance evaluations, and compensation discussions.

Your key responsibilities include converting capability gaps into individual and team development goals aligned with segment strategies.

- Conversion of know-how and skill gaps into individual and team development plans.

- Providing expertise in talent development and implementing solutions to meet business needs.
- Enhancing collaboration effectiveness within the team and beyond.
- Owning the performance review process and feedback collection.
- Managing resource allocation and workload effectively.
- Overseeing the P&O cycle, including goals, talent review, development, and compensation.
- Focusing on people development, coaching, collaboration, and efficiency.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of sales and business operations.

- A passion for people development and a keen business acumen.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, a strong affinity for people development, and the ability to embrace diverse viewpoints.
- A knack for helping others think things through and can stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- You will be a self-starter who thrives on driving change and possesses a curious and inquisitive mindset.
- You bring a Business understanding and sales focus to the team.
- Experience with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility for business travel in Europe, Middle East and Africa (25-35%)
- Leadership experience is essential, and a backgrond in a technical field or expertise in HR or Talent Development would be advantageous.
