We are currently looking for an agile and technically excellent senior-level lawyer to join and lead our Legal Sourcing & Intellectual Property (IP) EMEA team.

**Your field of responsibility**

You will manage a team of lawyers based in Zurich and Wroclaw, working together to provide legal support on third-party supplier sourcing contracts (such as software, hosting, cloud services, outsourcings, market data, professional services, HR & marketing) and providing legal and contract-related advice on such matters.

You will deliver responsive and pragmatic advice, provide sound legal solutions and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will take strong ownership in driving advice and negotiations, managing legal risk and giving proactive advice.

The role also involves providing support on strategic regulatory projects and initiatives involving close collaboration with stakeholders across different functions and geographies, including Procurement, Data Protection Office and other GC colleagues.

You and your team will be involved in creating and maintaining our internal know-how database and templates and have the opportunity to coordinate and work with our global LTDPS and other GC colleagues in EMEA and other regions.

The role will be based in Zurich and you will report to the Global Head Legal Sourcing & IP, also based in Zurich.

Our Legal Sourcing & IP EMEA team is part of the Global Legal Tech, Data Protection and Sourcing (LTDPS) GC Organization. Alongside our Legal Sourcing & IP regional teams, our EMEA team provides technical, pragmatic and holistic legal advice on all third party vendor contractual arrangements and is instrumental in advising on contractual risks mitigation and planning. **Your skills and experience**

Your skills and experience will include:

- Qualified lawyer (common law jurisdiction preferred) with spoken and written English on a full professional proficiency.
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant work experience gained in private practice and/or a corporate in-house legal environment (previous sourcing/outsourcing, commercial contracting and advisory legal experience in a financial institution would be highly advantageous).
- Substantial experience with UK and international contracts with ability to lead contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of a broad range of legal and regulatory topics (such as outsourcing, cloud, third party risk management, operational resilience) in the UK and the European Commission.
- Collaboration and leadership skills (proven successful experience as a team leader would be a plus).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Track record of handling multiple complex situations and legal engagements, with strong problem-solving ability.
