Finance Manager

Responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements for all Swiss companies in support of Noble’s consolidated financial reporting. Responsible for the preparation and filing of Swiss statutory financial statements and associated tax filings (corporate tax, VAT, etc.).QUALIFICATIONS
- Business Degree with a major in Accounting; professional designation preferred.
- 5-10 years related experience within Switzerland, oil and gas service industry a plus.
- Understanding of Swiss GAAP; US GAAP and IFRS experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and German; French a plus.
- Ability to work independently and with groups.
- Proficient in financial accounting software systems; SAP and Hyperion a plus.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite software (especially Excel).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Complete monthly financial reporting cycle within corporate timelines.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are maintained and reconciled on a monthly basis.
- Ensure all statutory reporting and tax filing requirements are completed as required.
- Ensure quarterly VAT filing for subsidiaries/Swiss VAT group are filed as required.
- Oversee preparation of monthly bareboat charter (BBC) agreement billings.
- Manage cash and intercompany balances, loans; maintain cash outlook.
- Preparation annual operating and capital budgets for review by Supervisor.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Promote continuous improvement of internal controls and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee timely preparation presentation package for the Directors/Shareholder meetings
- Present subsidiary financial statements and various KPIs at Board of Directors/Shareholder meetings.
- Support Noble’s Legal, Tax, and HR department with administration of all Swiss related matters.
- Be a board member of the Swiss companies and some companies abroad.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
