Alstom maintains and optimises the lifecycle costs of over 35,000 vehicles worldwide, covering the full range of rolling stock, including LRV, APM, metro, regional, mainline, high & very-high-speed trains, as well as locomotives and freight wagons.

Our scalable services from technical support with spares, to fully outsourced maintenance schemes, are adjusted to customer needs and operational requirements. As a leader in green mobility, we continuously innovate and adapt to the needs of our customers' fleets, and can maintain green vehicles (hydrogen-powered, battery, or hybrid). Enhanced through innovative digital solutions, our rolling stock maintenance activities such as advanced maintenance analytics, condition-based and predictive maintenance and remote expert support, continuously maximise asset availability, performance and reliability.

**We are currently looking for a** Services **Bid Manager** **in **Zurich, Switzerland**

**Your mission**:

- Manage the Tender Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) commitment for medium or highly critical bids
- Deliver a winning proposal, with a defined scope, accurate QCDP commitments, in a timely manner and within the defined tender budget

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Define the bid operational strategy taking into account the commercial strategy defined together with the Services Leader and Platform
- Prepare the technical description and documentation of offered solution to be submitted to the customer
- Ensure offered solution compliance versus Customer requirements and internal product strategy; identify deviations
- Manage QCD optimization and obtain clear commitments from different actors
- Prepare risks & opportunities reviews
- Participate to customer and contract negotiation meetings

**Your experience and qualifications**:

- Master’s degree or bachelor degree in engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ of experience on Project/Services Operations/Bid Management delivery (costing, planning & risk management) within rail industry
- Ability to challenge proposals to obtain optimal solutions backed with commitments
- Knowledge of financial, contractual and legal aspects to be able to interface with internal relevant parties, and assess impacts on costing
- High capability to manage efficient time and team working to produce the tender deliverables within a limited time period and under stressful conditions
- Excellent communication skills in German and English; French is desirable
