CONTEXT & MISSION:
As we embark on a new journey for the L'OCCITANE en Provence brand, we are redefining our global creative department and are looking for a highly motivated Head of Brand Creative Communications who will lead all L'OCCITANE en Provence creative brand animations & brand content with a team of up to 12 people.
The position is based in the Group WHQ Plan-les-Ouates (near Geneva).

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
1) Lead the Creative brand animations & brand content with a team of up to 12 people (creative leaders, strategic planning, visual merchandising designer, etc.):

  • Build and unite a team of creative leaders with various expertise;
  • Coach, train team members and ensure the continuous development of team knowledge;
  • Lead yearly Performance Evaluations;
  • Highlight the team on the L’OCCITANE scene.

2) Lead, create, produce and execute international brand campaigns, through a 360 integrated approach for all touchpoints:

  • Lead the team across all steps of creative development (strategic planning, conceptualization, creative direction and content creation for all channels including PR/events, store visual merchandising & activations);
  • Create powerful ideas to answer Marketing Communications briefs;
  • Ensure brand consistency with a global campaign strategic vision;
  • Translate the new Brand Equity into every campaign;
  • Accompany shift towards more digital oriented content (50% investments);
  • Translate basics area specificities with area champions on assets / ensure content can be implemented in local markets;
  • Involve internal & external key stakeholders in campaign projects;
  • Be the Guardian of L’OCCITANE quality standards.

3) Create a permanent brand content:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications team to elaborate a strategy on our transversal brand content & produce brand content;
  • Ensure we have a solid base of brand content to leverage yearly for the brand (ingredients, producers, textures, Provence, seasons, etc.) and that can fuel different assets development & channels;
  • Lead social media content (in the future), define editorial calendar with Marketing Communications, produce and animate channel(s), keep in touch with relevant social trends and share with the whole team.

4) Be responsible from creation to perfect execution:

  • Share relevant topics with Chief Creative Officer & Creative Operations Director;
  • Ensure daily link with others creative departments;
  • Pilot & deliver roadmap on-time with associated tools:
  • Make sure creative proposals are in-line with budget allocated;
  • Optimize budget & production bundles to gain efficiency in partnership with production department;
  • Manage team traffic & workload.

5) Focus on L’OCCITANE Brand elevation as key priority:

  • Ability to present the brand & team on stage;
  • Ability to defend team ideas & creative concepts;
  • Strong collaborative mindset with both global & local departments (feedback / multicultural understanding, etc.);
  • Onboard teams on brand elevation & creative transformation journey (highlight quick wins, opportunities & positive aspects).

HOW YOU CAN FIT:

  • +10 years relevant experience: graphic design - art direction (beauty, fashion or luxury industry);
  • Strong artistic approach & culture with a strategic vision;
  • Strong understanding of visual merchandising specificities;
  • 360 (print & digital) and graphic industry knowledge;
  • Successful track record in leading and developing a team with the ability to foster team creativity;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written;
  • Curious, innovative mind set and team player;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Fluent English & French is a strong advantage;
  • Available to travel up to 20 %.
