Spineart Deutschland GmbH incorporated in Frankfurt, with a dedicated team of expert sales and marketing employees in spinal surgeries is looking to consolidate its management structure by recruiting a talented, well experienced Sales Director for Germany and Austria

This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate ready for a new exciting challenge to help us develop a sustainable and profitable sales level in Germany and Austria.

You will proactively develop the strong existing customer landscape and network (acquisition of new customers, relation with key opinion stakeholders, including GPOs, KOLs) and will be responsible for leading the Sales team’s activities in Germany and Austria.

You will report to the Area VP DACH and will work closely with the cross functional colleagues from HQ: market access, customer service, marketing product, finance, compliance…

Your mission & responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 8+ area Sales Reps, product specialist and distributors.
  • Accountable for the sales target of the countries
  • Provide monthly sales forecast to the Area VP DACH
  • Develop and implement with the team sustainable sales strategies (i.e., customer acquisition plans, development of KOLs, internal and external trainings, marketing initiatives, etc)
  • Develop new Sales strategies depending on the demand of the markets.
  • Presence in Operating Room when/if necessary
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes.
  • Maintain and develop the relationship with Purchasing Groups (PGOs)
  • Prepare tenders and work on pricing strategies.
  • Represent the company at national and international workshops, conferences, and other activities.
  • Manage and optimize hospital inventory consignments.
  • Provide monthly reporting and forecasting as per Company requirements.
  • Be responsible for running a profitable team and take care of expenses and costs

Your profile

  • Strong commercial experience in the medical sector Germany, or Austria ideally in spine or in orthopaedic / neurosurgery
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in sales and/or marketing in the medical technology industry
  • Education: Bachelor or Master degree in marketing, business, science
  • Knowledge about the spine market and confidence in operating room’s environment
  • Ability to work independently with analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Solid leadership experience
  • Team player with positive thinking mentality, willing to develop and to help
  • Ability to analyze data and information
  • Flexibility to ravel on a regular basis to Germany & Austria
  • Professional language abilities in German, English, French
