Join our team at On as a Specialist – Footwear Production Quality Assurance, where you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards for our state of the art products. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams and ensure the quality assurance process throughout the production lifecycle.

Your mission

– Inspect and ensure the quality of finished goods and packaging using industry-standard methods such as dimensional measurement, functionality checks, and compliance with blueprints.
– Develop and continuously improve quality testing procedures, driving innovations that enhance efficiency and product excellence.
– Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they align with both performance and sustainability goals.
– Collect and analyze quality inspection results, summarizing defects, reworks, and waste to contribute to process improvements.
– Train production teams on quality standards and ensure compliance throughout the production cycle.
– Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and sourcing, to integrate quality control measures across the product lifecycle.
– Perform regular inspections of raw materials, ensuring that all components meet our high-quality standards.
– Identify the root causes of product defects and reworks, proposing corrective actions and ensuring timely resolution.
– Verify the calibration and functionality of all equipment used in the production process.

Your story

– 2+ years in quality assurance, ideally within the footwear or sporting goods industry.
– Proficient in using measurement devices and gauges; ability to interpret technical drawings (preferred).
– Familiarity with quality control software, along with MS Office and/or Google applications.
– Ability to analyze quality data and make data-driven decisions to improve processes.
– Understanding of sustainability practices within manufacturing and quality control.
– Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
– Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
– Adaptable to fast-paced environments and passionate about innovation in quality assurance.
