We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist – Machine Operator Plastics (Kunststofftechniker) to join our team.
You will be responsible for operating machines that incorporate an extrusion process, automation, and robotics in a production setting.
The Plastics Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the machinery, conducting regular maintenance, and addressing any issues that may arise during production.
Your mission
- Operate production machines that utilise extrusion, automation, and robotics technology.
- Set up machines for production runs according to specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance during production to ensure output meets quality requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance on the machine to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may impact production efficiency.
- Follow established production schedules to meet output targets.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct quality standards for raw materials.
Your story
- Vocational training or higher as a Polymer- and Plastics Technician.
- 5-10 years of proven experience as a Plastics Technician in a production environment, with knowledge of extrusion, automation, and robotics.
- Familiar with Lean Processes.
- Ability to operate and maintain production machinery effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules and quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Ability to communicate in English or German.

You will belong to the Footwear innovation team, with close collaborations with different functions, including Footwear Creation, Operations, Material, Sustainability, and Costing teams.
