R&D Strategic Manager

An opportunity has arisen to join the R&D Leadership Team as the R&D Strategic Manager. Based in Rolle, Switzerland, the role reports directly to the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and works cross-functionally with R&D Vice Presidents from diverse segments, including Human Nutrition, Animal and Pet Nutrition, Health & Wellness, Precision Fermentation, Oil Seeds, Carbohydrate Solutions, Research Process and Development. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment, supporting the processes, operations and communications aligned to the global R&D strategy, with scope for continued professional development.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the CSO with strategic R&D initiatives, processes and deliverables.
- Work cross-functionally within the R&D Leadership team, staying connected to key developments in R&D, as well as business growth and market demands.
- Develop strategic material for the global R&D organization.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Manage and prioritize concurrent projects within a dynamic environment.
- Drive independent and collaborative projects.
- Planning, agendas, KPI and portfolio reporting.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to drive project success and operational efficiency.
Your profile:
- Excellent organizational, analytical and planning skills.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner to targeted audiences.
- Experience in corporate R&D, interacting with diverse departments would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as ADM is an international company with R&D facilities across multiple locations.
