Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Join Tecan Join the market leaderWork in an international and dynamic environment, share our successEver wondered how your skills and unique background could impact the world of tomorrow?Join our Program Management Office team and bring your passion and talent to work.Project ManagerProduct Development (Diagnostic Instruments & Lab Automation)Your contributionIn this pivotal role, you will take the lead on development projects from end to end, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and achievement of key performance objectives.You will have full ownership and accountability for mid-sized projects, including internal initiatives and customer specific projects.ResponsibilitiesDefining and building project teams with the right cross-functional mix of professional skills.Managing the planning, staffing, and execution of development projects for lab automation and clinical diagnostics according to applicable development processes.Planning, monitoring, and reporting on complex projects, coordinating interfaces with related projects.Ensuring proactive and proper communication within the organization and with stakeholders, including management board members.Demonstrating clear leadership within the organization towards all management levels.Coordinating team members located across multiple locations.Through leadership and methodological competence, ensure efficient implementation and adherence to processes, guidelines, and regulations, such as: ISO 13485, IEC 61010, and the machinery directive (2006/42/EC).Lead and coordinate cross-functional team activities across departments to ensure successful delivery of project goals — from feasibility studies and product development through to design transfer and industrialization.Drive effective stakeholder management and proactively resolve conflicts within the project team and across stakeholders.Your backgroundWe’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.BSc or MSc in a technical degree in a technical field, preferably in engineering, life sciences, mechanical or electrical disciplines.A PhD in Life Sciences, along with project management education, PMP or similar certifications, and training in change management and leadership, will set you apart.At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the development of complex instruments or automated solutions for diagnostic applications.Experience in product management and business administration is a bonus.Fluent in English; additional languages (German and others) are a plus.Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiencesProven experience in leading highly regulated product development projects, with a focus on automation, assay development, and agile project management.What makes working at Tecan uniqueThe chance to make it count and to have an impact on the world of tomorrowWorking in an international and diverse environmentThe chance to grow your career within the companyFeel empowered by our strong and unique company cultureComprehensive compensation and benefits packageJoin Tecan, a great place to workRead about our recent certification fromGreat Place to Work .We’re looking forward to receiving your application.Please submit your CV or resume (w/o picture and w/o cover letter, reference letters and diplomas are optional).Our purpose.At Tecan we are driven to improve people’s lives and health.
