OverviewJoin our Global Centre of Competence Power Conversion as Production Manager and oversee assembly, testing, and logistics operations across the Turgi and Seon sites. You will ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and optimal resource management aligned with business goals.How You’ll Make An ImpactLead and support assembly teams in collaboration with shift leaders to meet production targetsOversee schedules and resource planning to ensure timely outputEnsure product quality through ownership of testing processes, while collaborating with Testing as an internal customer to align production, material planning, and logisticsEngage with Engineering and Project Management to resolve non-conformities and drive corrective actionsDevelop capacity plans aligned with business goalsDrive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, with a strong focus on Lean Management principles (MES)Champion initiatives for operational excellence and sustainabilityManage and develop production supervisors and assemblers while ensuring a culture of safety, quality and innovationYour backgroundDegree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience5+ years in production management within a manufacturing settingStrong leadership and team management skillsProven problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesFluent in German and English (both are a must)Experience with SAP or similar production systemsCommitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementClear communicator with a hands-on mindsetMore About UsHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
