To support our Sustainability Team and to lead our Sustainability Transformation at our headquarters in Schaffhausen, we are looking for an
INTERN SUSTAINABILITY TRANSFORMATION (100%)Duration: 6 Months
Start: April 2025
In the context of transforming our organization from "sustainability as a silo" to "sustainability is everyone's business", the Sustainability Transformation Intern will play a key role in engaging and upskilling our teams globally to help transform our day-to-day approach. The role is transversal, working very closely with diverse IWC Teams at HQ, the Manufakturzentrum and across the world.
YOUR MISSION AT IWC.Internal communications
- Together with our external partner and the sustainability manager, lead the development of a sustainability-related communication plan and strategy to transform our people's thinking and perception of sustainability.
- Lead and steer the collection, analysis, and tracking of the status quo of employees' knowledge & engagement on sustainability with measurable KPIs and define actions accordingly in collaboration with our external partner.
- Act as the connecting link with our external partner in finding the right "tone of voice" in alignment with our brand essence and our employer branding to translate complex sustainability topics into the organization.
- Act as a true change agent within the movement and keep motivation and mindset always positive.
- Develop touchpoints to make sustainability more visible.
- Develop easy storytelling for our colleagues in boutiques to integrate into the selling ceremony.
- Plan, develop, and implement communication and marketing activities around sustainability to increase internal awareness through all available channels (intranet, townhalls, displays, etc.).
- Develop best practices on sustainability communications in line with IWC's strategy, bringing in external perspectives and sharing learnings with the team and stakeholders.
- Support our regional teams in building and implementing their regional sustainability roadmaps in accordance with our strategy.
- Animate and lead our internal (global) sustainability community.
- Develop, lead, and implement a yearly "Sustainability Week" for IWC.
- Push necessary and feasible changes and adaptations with the executive committee and keep track of progress to regularly report and adapt the strategy if needed.
Sustainability L&D and Sustainability Champions Program
- Lead the development and outline of a Sustainability L&D and Champions Program to further push the cultural change and transformation in close alignment with HR.
- Define the right academic partner for IWC's L&D / Sustainability Champion Program.
- Draft internal Sustainability L&D Strategy for all employees globally to increase commitment, awareness, and ownership of the topic in close alignment with the People Experience Team.
- Draft the strategy with the "Lean Concept" in mind and define a Sustainability Champions Program with different levels of knowledge and responsibilities.
- Design and lead a Champions Program with which the strategy can be brought into the organization.
Single point of contact
- Act as single point of contact for all sustainability-related questions and requests, internally and externally, and coordinate with respective departments and the Sustainability Team for timely responses.
- Full ownership of sustainability@iwc.com.
- Lead the sustainability introduction for our new joiners.
Bachelor's and/or master's degree and first experience in communication and/or marketing.
First experience and knowledge in leading projects, including the understanding of change-projects.
Knowledge of sustainability concepts and approaches is a plus.
English and preferably also German writing skills, coupled with a creative mindset.
A team-oriented and resilient personality, excellent social skills, and poise.
A precise, reliable, and efficient way of working.
A high degree of commitment, used to delivering consistent and high-quality results.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple information and tasks simultaneously.
Hands-on personality that is used to working independently and flexibly and has a strong business acumen.
Fluency in English is a must, German language skills are preferred, and French language skills are a plus.
