Data Migration Lead

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to lead and manage the data migration related to our Workday HCM implementation.
The role will focus on managing and migrating data from legacy systems to the new Workday solutions, including the conversion and integration of data into the new HCM data model.
Key responsibilities include:
- Data Migration: Ensure smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading processes while maintaining data integrity and security.
- Application Management: Own the lifecycle management of current HCM applications, from selection to retirement, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Workshops and Planning: Organize workshops to discover third-party data models, define scope, establish data mapping rules, and develop migration strategy with functional leads.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Risk Management: Engage stakeholders for testing, partner with functional leads to synchronize actions, manage risks/issues register, and support the security workstream.
- Execution & Documentation: Oversee and ensure documentation of the migration of HR data from multiple systems (SAP and non-SAP), including recruitment systems and training records, into Workday.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data migration, customization, and integration, with expertise in cloud services and deployment models.
- Ability to perform data analysis and mapping, ensuring accurate data transformation. Knowledge of data profiling and data quality assessment tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of application lifecycle management, including deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning of enterprise applications.
- Skilled in aligning application strategies with business goals and ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and project managers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
