Communication and Administration Officer – Part-time

Summary
We are looking for a Communications and Administration Manager to elevate OIDEL’s external communications and oversee key administrative functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team in promoting and protecting the right to education worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communication
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to enhance OIDEL’s visibility and engagement.
- Create and design a variety of communication materials, including flyers, newsletters, annual reports, and training resources.
- Manage OIDEL’s social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Write, edit, and translate content for articles, website updates, and blog posts, ensuring clarity and consistency.
2. Administration
- Handle financial processes, including payments and billing.
- Manage contracts, insurance policies, and tax declarations.
- Oversee membership processes, including onboarding and payment management.
- Coordinate logistics for events, covering travel arrangements, venue bookings, catering, and accreditation.
Qualifications
1. Education
- A degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in law, international relations, or political studies are advantageous.
2. Hard Skills
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in design software, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM tools and web analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and effective social media management.
3. Soft Skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
4. Languages
- Proficiency in English and French is required (min. C1 level).
- Knowledge of Spanish and Italian is a plus.
Position Details
Grade: Entry-level
Part-time: 18 hours/week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Geneva, with occasional travel outside Switzerland
Starting date: Early 2025
