- Part-time teachers are paid per teaching hour. Part-time teachers are hired per term (3 months). If the service delivered is satisfactory and depending on the demand, they can be hired for the following term or a future term.**Responsibilities**:

- Qualifications/special skills
- Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent degree) in language area studies, language teaching, applied linguistics, communication or education/pedagogy or related area is required. Degrees with special emphasis on the theory and practice of teaching a second or foreign language to adult learners are desirable. A first-level university degree in combination with six years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Post-degree training in second or foreign language teaching is highly desirable. A minimum of four years of experience teaching Russian as a foreign or second language to adults in a multi-cultural setting (corporate, academic or other professional setting), is required. Of these, at least three years of recent experience in curriculum development, language examination design, and/or language teacher training is required. Experience using a variety of e-learning tools, learning management systems (i.e. Moodle) and online collaboration tools to teach a second or foreign language is desirable. Experience at an international level in a multicultural environment is desirable.

- Part-time teachers are paid per teaching hour. Part-time teachers are hired per term. If the service delivered is satisfactory and depending on the demand, they can be hired for the following term or a future term. The contract does not include medical insurance nor pension allowance. Classes are held in the Palais des Nations in Geneva or online either from 8 to 9.30 a.m. or 12.30 to 2 p.m. twice a week per course. The programme contains a mandatory online component of one hour a week in addition to the three face-to-face hours (delivered in-person or virtually). Part-time teachers will be assigned between one and three courses (for a maximum of 12 teaching hours per week).
