The opportunity:

Client Life Cycle Management Analyst, Quality Assurance - Fixed Term Contract 18 Months

The role holder will work closely with PBRSG (PBRS - Guernsey Branch) CLM Teams to ensure completion at required quality standards. This role includes an element of coaching and training of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) based on trends from Quality Assurance to maintain compliance, sharing best practices in order to drive improvements in customer service, quality and consistency against standards and frameworks, performing diverse set of controls.
The role holder will use the appropriate internal and Global frameworks: CDD Global Standards and Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) related activities, including the completion of Enhanced Due Diligence, Sanctions and recognition of High Risk/SCC accounts.
The role holder will review a sample of completed Onboarding and Periodic Reviews to ensure all areas of risk and financial crime risk are considered by the business and CLM Teams / Relationship Managers and work with them to ensure the correct remedial action taken in line with the Banks’ attitude to risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the quality of the CDD end to end process has been followed correctly for onboarding and existing to bank clients.
  • Perform controls related to PBRS CLM activities (Tax related control, static data changes etc.).
  • Quality check a percentage of finalized cases depending on the risk rating.
  • Feedback of errors and common trends to CLM, Front Office teams and the Business.
  • Supporting the Quality Control Manager by organizing and running group training sessions to enhance quality results.
Subject Matter Expert Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring PBRSG CLM due diligence reviews are undertaken to the required quality and detail on a timely basis.
  • Recommending/undertaking further due diligence where required.
  • Communicating effectively and ability to lead discussions regarding complex queries with Quality function, Compliance, RM or Front Office contacts.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of SME / Compliance related Management Information.
  • Providing support, training and coaching to the PBRS CLM Teams on interpretation of the guidance.
  • Undertaking reviews of extended due diligence to assess risk.
  • Perform research via internal and external sources, gather and analyze documentation in accordance with local regulatory.

What you will do:
  • Complete quality assurance checks to ensure standards are met and also in line with KPI.
  • Consider customer impact and business outcomes and act as escalation point for any Quality related concerns.
  • Build strong network relationships to ensure the delivery of remediation programs are met to a high standard.
  • Ensure that minimum internal and external regulatory requirements are met.
  • Ensure concerns are highlighted through the correct escalation process.
  • Supporting CLM Teams and Front Office in updating PEDRs and Account opening profiles in accordance with the Group Policy.
  • Supporting CLM Teams and Front Office in producing timely, high quality CDD profiles and addressing quality issues.
  • Have a good understanding of the GPB Policy, Line of Business procedures, local regulatory requirements and DIMs.
  • Understand and comply with internal control standards with no breaches of regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting Production teams to implement changes to the GPB policies effectively.
Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree or relevant work experience.
  • Fluent in English and French both written and spoken.
  • International profile with practice in other countries and multi-cultural experience is a plus.
