Procurement Project Manager, Zug

For one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, we are seeking a Procurement Project Manager. You will lead a broad range of projects within the area of Diagnostics Direct Procurement in close collaboration with stakeholders and adjoining functions.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement project plans, considering timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor and control project execution.
- Monitor and mitigate risk – Proactively identify and report any projected risks to overall targets or timelines, as well as potential mitigation strategies. Resolve issues and project risks in a timely manner and escalate issues and risks where appropriate.
- Plan, design, and lead global Sourcing & Benchmarking projects.
Must Haves:
- University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Life Sciences.
- High proficiency in English.
- 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, enterprise cost reduction, and/or operational efficiency projects, preferably within global Pharma or Medical Device manufacturing.
- Familiarity with different project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Demonstrated understanding of major direct spend categories and potential cost levers or market fundamentals.
- Strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier management in new product development and introduction in the medical device/pharmaceutical industry, or other highly regulated industries.
- 3+ years of project management experience, including risk management, project reporting, and delivering quantitative and qualitative results in complex environments.
