Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive procurement project plans, considering timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables
  • Monitor and control project execution
  • Monitor and mitigate risk – Identify and report any projected risks to overall targets or timelines and potential mitigation strategies
  • Resolve issues and project risks on a timely basis and escalate issues and risks where appropriate
  • Planning, design, and leadership of global Sourcing & Benchmarking projects
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners; coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Drive close alignment with relevant stakeholders within Roche Diagnostics and across Roche Group
  • Lead global, cross-functional projects to expand and continuously improve the modern procurement process landscape
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements/improvement potential
  • Leverage modern digital procurement technology to drive an efficient, compliant Sourcing and Benchmarking process
Qualifications
  • Procurement or supply chain experience delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, enterprise cost reduction, and/or operational efficiency projects, preferably within a global Pharma or medical device manufacturing company
  • Familiarity with different project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
  • Demonstrated understanding of major direct spend categories and potential cost levers or market fundamentals
  • Project management experience including risk management, project reporting, and delivering quantitative and qualitative results in complex environments
  • Strong capability in negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Experience with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement/procure-to-pay tools (e.g., GEP, Ariba, Emptoris, SAP)
  • Strong analytical experience, including the ability to drive insights from large and varied data sources and data visualization applications (e.g., Tableau, Qlikview) and database applications (e.g., Access)
  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Life Sciences
  • High proficiency in English
