Job Title: General Manager/GM Austria & Switzerland

Location: Zug, Switzerland

Job Description:

As the General Manager CH/AH at Galderma, you will be responsible for leading our commercial operations in Switzerland and Austria. This pivotal role involves developing and executing business strategies, enhancing growth and profitability, creating operational plans and policies, and serving as the company's representative to various internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Northern Europe Cluster, your mission is to create long-term growth for Switzerland & Austria. Galderma is on a solid growth trajectory, and this leadership position requires you to make day-to-day commercial decisions and implement Galderma’s long-term, mid-term, and short-term plans for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Directing, planning, and implementing Galderma's policies and objectives in accordance with HQ directions and the board of directors.
  2. Leading activities to plan and execute strategies, assign responsibilities, set business objectives, and coordinate interdepartmental operations to achieve annual and long-term business goals.
  3. Analyzing operations and results to evaluate company and staff performance, identify areas for sales, market share, profit growth, process improvement, and cost reduction.
  4. Drive & overlook the launch and LCM of key brands, in a cross-functional setting – for all business units (Injectable Aesthetics, Dermatological Skincare, Therapeutic Dermatology).
  5. Ensure a strong integration of the ‘Integrated Dermatology Strategy’ across the business units.
  6. Collaborate with and leverage the capabilities available at cluster and regional level.
  7. Establishing and maintaining strong external relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, Health Care organizations, and Government Authorities to differentiate Galderma's products.
  8. Reviewing financial statements, sales results, and activity reports to ensure the organization’s objectives are met.
  9. Identifying areas requiring attention or adjustment and managing the organization to mitigate risks.
  10. Optimizing Galderma’s organizational design and overseeing internal control procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Strong market knowledge of Switzerland and Austria, with proficiency in English, German and French.
  2. Strategic leadership with full P&L responsibility.
  3. High-energy, results-oriented leadership style.
  4. Proven experience as a Business Unit Head, Country Manager, or Commercial Lead.
  5. Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at inspiring trust, and fostering collaboration.
  6. Well-organized, a self-starter, and a take-charge individual with a hands-on approach. Willing and capable of assuming additional responsibilities and growing with the company.
