**Responsibilities**:
As we continue to look for more sustainable ways to build, we need world-class talent to join our team. For this role, we look for an experienced legal leader to work with Holcim Group Legal & Compliance at Holcim's global headquarter in Switzerland. You will be in charge of the legal support for the Group’s global M&A activities and corporate transactions as well as for the governance and corporate housekeeping of the Group's holdings companies in Switzerland and abroad (including listing requirements). You will lead a team of two to three legal experts working in your area of responsibility.

To be successful in this position you need to be a skilled leader driving the performance of your team and at the same time be able to provide high quality legal services in the area of global M&A and corporate transactions that are technically excellent, commercially relevant, timely, effective, cost efficient, risk appropriate and solutions driven. Empathy and confidence will allow you to build relationships with your stakeholders internally and externally.
- Lead the team of two to three legal experts and provide high quality legal advice and support for all Group-relevant M&A (public and private) and other corporate transactions worldwide of the Holcim Group (including dealing with all related legal issues such as leading negotiations, drafting complex agreements and providing legal solutions which add value to the Group)
- Supervise and manage the corporate housekeeping of all Group holdings companies in Switzerland and internationally and contribute to the overall simplification of the Group structure by managing internal restructurings and corporate transactions of Group entities
- Advice on ad hoc/insider trading topics as well as management reporting matters under Swiss and EU laws and ensure compliance with the SIX Swiss Exchange and Euronext regular reporting obligations as well as on Group annual report, annual sustainability report and other reports with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
- Ensure team operates within a “functional excellence” framework; develop initiatives and best practices (development of standard documentation, cost management etc.) in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders to be rolled out within the global legal community of the Holcim Group
- Work collaboratively within broader Group Legal, Corporate, Finance and M&A team as well as other regional/local legal and commercial teams of the Holcim Group in relevant areas of responsibility
- Ensure the efficient support of stakeholders at the headquarter and subsidiaries in legal matters, projects and national as well as international legal questions

Education/Qualifications:

- Law degree from a reputable law school / university and admitted to a bar in Switzerland, EU or UK
- Ideally supplemented by a post-graduate degree from a reputable law school / university
- Excellent academic credentials

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working on complex cross-border M&A and other corporate transactions in an international law firm or multinational corporation
- Extensive global experience having worked in various countries with a broad working knowledge of the various legal systems and challenges
- Experience in leading cross cultural teams with well-developed leadership skills
