Job DescriptionPrimary Function of Position:

Ensure timely and accurate administration of payroll for the countries within scope of region, in close collaboration with Finance and HR teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Payroll activities: Process the entire payroll cycle, from data collection to final approval for multiple countries ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee changes. Prepare month-end payroll related journal entries for all the payroll runs in liaison with the provider and prepare all payroll related return and filing of all required documents with local third annual declarations are filled timely and accurately by local outsourced payroll providers.
  2. Employee life cycle payroll related administration activities: On-boarding/off-boarding process: on time employees’ announcements to local authorities.
  3. Primary point of contact for employees’ questions related to payroll.
  4. Project management: Participate in payroll/Finance projects upon request.
QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  1. Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in a payroll function within multinational work environment.
  2. Full understanding and recognized experience in managing complex payroll process in a multi-country environment or in a company providing service to multiple customers.
  3. Experience working with / managing external partners, payroll provider would be an asset.
  4. Figures oriented, exceptional attention to details.
  5. Ability to work independently and across teams whilst keeping open communication with key stakeholders.
  6. Ability to solve complex problems with little instruction and to support less experienced team members in making effective decisions and resolving issues.
  7. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  8. Highly customer-focused approach and developed analytical skills with positive “can-do” attitude.
  9. Fluent in English and French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, would be a plus.
  10. Proven knowledge of Windows Office especially in Excel.
