About the job:

Smood is looking for a talented Communication Manager who will be in charge of developing the communication between Smood and various stakeholders: partners, drivers and B2B clients and prospects.

Our goal is to maintain and develop relationships with our thousands of restaurant partners and keep them informed of any new updates regarding our company, our platforms, and our operations. Our objective with our drivers is to keep them informed of the latest news so that they feel part of the team and have all the information they need to perform. The aim is also to gather feedback from drivers across the cities and translate this into improvements for them.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain communications plans (newsletters, emailers, push notifications, blog posts, social media, etc.)
  2. Ownership over the content calendar & ongoing content generation (including visual & tonality guidelines, content pillars with themes & topics)
  3. Lead the content distribution across different owned and earned channels
  4. Monitoring of technological, organisational and process changes in the company, then synthesis and communication with the fleet, organisation of meeting events with delivery personnel and office staff
  5. Establishment of an employee satisfaction metric, reporting of the situation per city to management, synthesis and feedback.
  6. Developing training materials for drivers or partners (ie.: webinars)
  7. Visiting cities and meeting delivery people and partners

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in communications or marketing, preferably with CRM and Marketing automation experience
  2. Fluency in French and English required, German and/or Italian a plus
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  4. Outgoing, sociable person with great empathy and ability to listen to people
  5. Initiative and creativity
  6. High degree of autonomy
  7. Experience in a startup / tech company preferred
